Lisa Moore performs a solo set in the opening gala concert: Bach 'Prelude and Fugue in E major' bk 2, Schumann 'Vogel als Prophet' and Frederic Rzewski 'Piano Piece no.4'. Concert also features CANADIAN BRASS, WILLIAM BARTON didgeridoo, SIMÓN BOLÍVAR STRING QUARTET, REBECCA CHAN violin and MINH LE HOANG guitar.

Lisa Moore performs in Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata in D minor and the Kegelstatt Trio by Mozart. This concert also features Seven Romances on Poems by Alexander Blok, both searing masterpieces from a dark episode in Russia’s history.
