“the daring and impressive cello-piano duo” — The New Yorker
“however TwoSense proceeds – whether purely as a duo or an open-ended chamber project- it’s adventures should be worth following.” – The New York Times
“All Stars from the All Stars” — The New York Times
“Lisa Moore and Ashley Bathgate established their reputations as eloquent new-music interpreters” — Allan Kozinn The New York Times
“No qualms at all about the dark, brooding and emotionally substantial Prayers Remain Forever (by Martin Bresnick). Moore and Bathgate give as much colour and meaning to the impassioned virtuoso outbursts of the final pages as they do to the central section’s rapidly subtly shifting arpeggios, and the long-lined introduction.
