I’ll be in residence at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music August 19-24 working with percussionist Vanessa Tomlinson and Ba Da Boom Percussion, performing Erik Grizwold’s beautiful “Concerto” for prepared piano and percussion quartet as well as “Of the Heaviness of Matter” – the gorgeous 2nd movement of Martin Bresnick’s “Grace” concerto for two marimbas and piano (orchestra) as well as the great “Ishi’s Song” for piano solo.
